His musical journey began in childhood, inspired by his mother, who nurtured his gift by buying him his first drum pad and later a Casio keyboard. This early encouragement became the catalyst for his lifelong love of music. At just six years old, Jus was prophesied over, receiving a word that his life would be defined by music—a calling he has embraced with passion and excellence ever since.

Hailing from a family deeply rooted in ministry, Jus began on the drums before expanding his skill set to keyboards and organ, developing a rare versatility and intuitive musicality. Over more than 15 years, he has performed in diverse settings including worship services, large-scale conferences, revivals, theatrical productions, and stage performances nationwide.

His impressive resume includes over seven years at PFC, Donnie McClurkin’s ministry, where he contributed to transformative worship experiences. Separately, he has also played behind gospel greats such as Melvin Crispell III, bringing his unique artistry and precision to every performance. In 2019, he performed behind Toni Braxton, further demonstrating his ability to bring excellence to any stage. Jus has also acted as musical director for numerous ensembles, productions, and events, arranging, directing, and coordinating music to create moments of profound impact.

Technically, Jus Blaze is extraordinary: he can play fluently in all keys, improvise seamlessly, and navigate complex chord progressions, dynamic modulation, and layered harmonic textures. Currently, he plays with several dynamic groups, travels extensively, and is available for conferences, revivals, worship services, theatrical productions, and private events.
